In Venezuela, President Hugo Chavez has been reelected to a new six-year term. He had 54 percent of the vote; much closer than he's gotten used to during his 14 years in office.

Venezuelans will be going to the polls this weekend to elect their president. Unlike any election in recent memory there, it's looking close for Hugo Chavez, who has been in power since 1998.
