Goldman Sachs is expected to disclose 39 accounting changes geared to make the transactions it handles more transparent. The investment bank said it plans to differentiate between its own investments and the transactions it oversees for clients. Goldman’s anticipated move follows scrutiny from Congressional leaders and financial regulators last year for selling bad investments in subprime mortgages.

The Onion, a satirical website and publication, is making its television debut tonight. The sports parody show, called “Sportsdome,” premieres on Comedy Central tonight before the Daily Show, and a news show is scheduled to premiere next week. Analysts speculate that The Onion is using the new endeavor to counter declining circulation and to gain a new audience.
