Census data shows fewer seniors are living alone
There’s hasn’t been in increase in seniors in nursing homes, either.

A new investigation published in The New Yorker detailed what happened at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged, a nursing home in Richmond, Virginia, after it was acquired by a private equity firm in 2021.

The latest five-year data sets from the Census Bureau have new details about where Americans 65 and older are living. The percentage of seniors in nursing homes has dropped. So has the percentage of them who are living alone. So who are they living with? Each other and their kids.
