Another pharma megamerger: AbbVie buys Allergan for $63 billion

Earlier this year, Bristol-Myers Squibb announced it was buying Celgene for $74 billion. Now AbbVie, which makes popular drug Humira, has entered into an agreement to pay about $63 billion for Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox. What’s in it for both companies?
