Vietnam cracks down on fake “Made in Vietnam” labels

The Vietnamese government has promised a crackdown on fake labels and certificates of origin.

The U.S. trade war with China has exporters facing high tariffs, so some Chinese manufactures are trying to get around them by labeling exports as “Made in Vietnam.” The Vietnamese government has promised a crackdown on fake labels and certificates of origin.
