Leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization will be in Washington this week to celebrate NATO’s 70th anniversary. Seven decades from its foundation, the Western postwar alliance finds itself on unstable ground and faces persistent criticism from President Trump. But, as Marketplace’s Ben Bradford reports, internal strife is as much a part of NATO’s history as peace.
