Behind the World Bank’s new global growth forecast

The bank is just the latest to revise growth figures downward. Here's why

This big international economy we’re all living in apparently isn’t growing as quickly as experts thought. The latest evidence of that comes from the World Bank’s newest forecast, which cuts its 2016 global growth forecast down to 2.4 percent. It had predicted 2.9 percent growth in January. The World Bank is just the latest group to trim its worldwide economic growth forecasts.
