Threats to cyber security are common, an everyday part of life. But 40 years ago, the possibility of a cybersecurity breach was hardly more than a conversation.
Whats more, our government officials ignored warnings decades prior – warnings that could have better prepared us for cyber threats of today. According to Fred Kaplan, author of “Dark Territory: The Secret History of Cyber War,” the U.S. is still wandering in dark territory when it comes to our cyber defense system.
