Economists try to predict the future all the time using short-term and long-term outlooks. After all, it’s part of their job. But, there’s plenty of anxiety that comes with forecasting, especially since job security is tied to the health of our markets.
Alec Ross is the author of “The Industries of the Future,” and he believes planning for tomorrows industries are just as important as next month’s numbers. How does he know what those industries will be? We asked him that question and why preparing for tomorrow is important today.
