That’s how much a cauliflower costs at a grocery store in Ottawa. Why such a high price? With an economy so dependent on oil, the record low prices have driven down the worth of the Canadian dollar. And as the New York Times writes, that, combined with a drought in California where Canadians get many vegetables in the winter, causes some products to inflate price tags.

That’s how much longer foreign students can remain in the states after graduation if they work in STEM fields, and successfully apply for a the Optional Practical Training program. But that may soon change, as the so-called STEM extension was nullified by a federal judge last August. With the grace period ending in February, the government is asking for more time to create a new rule.

That’s how many large Air Force drones were damaged or destroyed last year. That’s the highest number ever. As the Washington Post writes, the Air Force also had to lessen its strikes performed via drone by 8 percent because of a lack of pilots.
