But considering that between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the USPS shipped about 600 million packages, it’s comparatively not as big of a challenge. And as one consultant pointed out, the size of the organization helps, too.

On Monday, South Korea and Japan resolved the issue of South Korean women who were forced to work in Japanese brothels during World War II, with Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe offering an apology to the 46 surviving women and about $8.3 million to be divided among them.
