That’s about how much you’ll pay for Haier’s remote-controlled R2D2 refridgerator. Introduced in Japan over the summer, the life-sized fridge bot is slated to make its debut in January at CES. As Mashable writes, it also comes with projection capabilities should you want to send a distress message to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

That’s the working week proposed by Podemos, a new anti-austerity party in Spain. It’s one of four parties running in this weekend’s elections. The party was originally born out of anger following the great financial crisis two years ago. But with Spain’s economy in recovery, some businesses are worried that Podemos’ proposed policy changes may be too extreme.

That’s how many “minor” crashes have involved Google’s self-driving cars. But a new study out of the University of Michigan found that driverless cars have twice the crash rate as those with human drivers. The reason? As Bloomberg writes, because the cars are programmed to obey traffic laws to a fault, inattentive human drivers have been crashing into them.
