Women will achieve equal pay in 118 years, report says

According to a World Economic Forum report, women will receive equal pay globally by the year 2133.

In light of this final note on the way out today, check back with me in 118 years, all right?

Seriously.

The latest World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap report says that based on current trends, women won’t start making the same pay as men for doing the same job until the year 2133. (This is worldwide.)

Which is staggering, honestly.

Iceland, Norway and Finland are the top three countries for gender pay parity. Yemen, Pakistan and Syria — in the news for other reasons, obviously — are at the bottom of that list.
