Britain’s place in the EU is on the table Thursday

Incumbent Prime Minister David Cameron said he'd reevaluate the U.K.'s membership.

The British elections were basically too close to call late Wednesday.

On the one hand, a Labour win would bring about the U.K.’s most left-wing government in decades, but win by the incumbent Prime Minister David Cameron might bring about something else entirely.

Cameron has promised a public referendum on Britain’s membership in the European Union, a prospect that isn’t too popular with U.K. businesses.
