Checking in on the state of global innovation

A look at Intel's Global Innovation Barometer study.

Today Intel releases its Global Innovation Barometer study. The world’s biggest chip maker polled 12,000 people around the world and asked how they felt about technologies. There are some interesting findings. Women over 45 apparently advocate for technology more than men. And even though we call them “digital natives,” a majority of millennials actually think tech makes us less human. There’s a guy who is supposed to take all of this data, and do something with it. His name is Steve Brown and he is chief futurist at Intel Labs. He tells Marketplace Tech about the future of technology in retail spaces and why low energy chips matter so much.
