Markets spike on Egypt’s sharp turn

Markets in Egypt rose so quickly this morning officials had to temporarily suspend trading.

Egypt’s military chief announced Wednesday that President Mohammed Morsi had been deposed, after days of mass demonstrations against him. On Thursday, Supreme Constitutional Court Chief Justice Mansour Adly was sworn in as Egypt’s interim president.
