According to NPD Group, shoes rank number five this year. Last year, they didn’t even make it into the top 10.

Now my first question is: How do you buy someone a pair of shoes without them knowing that you’re going to buy them a pair of shoes?

My second question is: Are we really surprised that up to 15 percent of holiday sales will be returned this year?
