United Nations, a little less united
Hackers hacking. As hackers will do.
A UN server storing mostly old data for the United Nations Development Programme has been hacked into, exposing over 100 email addresses, passwords, and other login information. An Anonymous-friendly group calling itself Teampoison is claiming responsibility, calling the UN’s actions a “fraud.” The BBC talked to a UN spokesperson who said, “The server goes back to 2007. There are no active passwords listed for those accounts. Please note that UNDP.org was not compromised.” Lots of chest thumping for what looks like very little information by Teampoison in this case. Move along to the next hack. You’re blocking the lane. No rubber-necking.
