The job market is growing. Sort of. Just barely. But still there’s a tiny number of people who ARE getting jobs. We talk to one veterinarian who was part of the long-term employed — and landed her dream gig. We also talk to the author of “What Color is Your Parachute,” the 40-year-old job-hunting classic. He gives his insights on how the job market has changed since he published his seminal work and what advice still applies today. Starbucks wants to help the unemployed out by launching a fundraiser to fund microloans to small business owners.
Experian, the credit score company, did their second annual study of credit scores per capita in the U.S. we visit the cities with the best and worst credit scores and see what makes them tick.
