Hearing about this, some US Senators are either incensed about the violation of citizens’ rights OR sensing a golden political opportunity and are coming out swinging against OnStar. Late last week, Senators Al Franken (D-MN) and Chris Coons (D-DE) expressed their concerns over the agreements. Now it’s Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) getting even bolder about it, charging that OnStar is violating privacy and calling for an FTC investigation.
