Playlist: ‘Safe haven’ commodities hurting, matadors meet their end in Barcelona

Stocks continue to drop overseas this morning, but so-called ‘safe haven’ commodities — like gold and silver — that usually rise in uncertain times are dropping too. In fact, many metals are on track for their worst week in months. The group of the world’s 20 biggest economies — the G20 — today pledged to make sure the European debt crisis doesn’t undermine the global economy. Many believe Solyndra doesn’t spell the end for the solar industry, and the last bullfight ever in Barcelona happens this weekend.
