On today’s MTR, we talk about the emerging hacker group known as LulzSec, which recently hacked into the US Senate website after previous attacks on PBS and Sony. Now they figure they have so much hacking power, why not crowdsource the list of targets? To that end, LulzSec has set up a request line where you can call and leave suggestions on who should be hacked. It’s a heavily French accented voicemail greeting on the line, which has an Ohio area code. The latest targets (possibly by fan request but who knows, really) seem to be game companies as part of what LulzSec called Titanic Takeover Tuesday.
I should totally call that number and ask for Smoke On The Water. At which point they’ll blow up all the Marketplace websites.
