What’s in your wallet, Bobby Jay Brown?

A woman shares why she doesn't carry a typical wallet.

Bobby Jay Brown: My name is Bobby Jay Brown. I am from Bladensburg, Md. Right now, I’m in Washington D.C. at the Union Station. My wallet looks like a little case, like a little cigarette case with a zip up that you carry on the side of you.

I carry that because I had my identity stolen from me, my wallet stolen from me in 1985. So, for my security, I feel much more comfortable with that. I carry on my ID, my medical, my driver’s license and I have about one or two $5 and ones that’s all. Hand sanitizer and chewing gum. Emergency money, right there, just in case, right? And on the outside, another two, three dollars, you know, main card, grocery card… My pre-paid bank associate business card and my credentials and that’s it.
