Remember a couple of years ago when the global economy was collapsing and Iceland, of all places, seemed to be having it worst of all? Well, they do. And now they’re kind of starting over and rewriting their constitution. There are 320,000 people in Iceland, including Bjork, and it’s an incredibly computer literate country. Over two thirds are on Facebook. So the Icelandic government is taking to social media – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr (Flickr?) for suggestions in crafting the perfect document. Icelanders must register and their comments are monitored to avoid heckling and other idiot behavior one sometimes finds online.
