Marketplace continued its series of interviews with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. In new tech news, rumors are abound that Twitter is looking to acquire Tweetdeck.
The U.S. bond market doesn’t seem fazed by the news that the S&P could lower the country’s credit rating. Japan is still struggling to recover from the Fukushima damage, and in turn will be raising carbon emissions by using more fossil fuels in the meantime. Freakonomics Radio’s Stephen Dubner talked about the idea that its okay to flaunt “personal sacrifices” for the good of the environment.
