Optimism for the spring home sales season has been turned around by reports that new home sales in February was at its lowest number in 50 years. Detroit is one city that has lost a lot of residents in the past decade, and the mayor is trying to keep federal money from leaving the city as well.

Commentator Richard Reich spoke about nuclear regulations. We heard a story on trying to create chemicals that are non-toxic from the start. Middle East scholar Christopher Boucek talked about the rising unrest in Yemen. And several Midwest states here in the U.S. are having trouble trying to lure dairy farmers from the Netherlands.
