New feature on the search engine lets you block sites you don’t want to see so they’ll never come up again in your searches. You’ll need a Google account to do it (one wonders if they’re collecting your blocks and doing some counter-intuitive marketing as a result). Google had previously launched a Chrome extension that did this same thing but now its built into the web functionality itself. The move is a reaction to the increasing heat the company has been receiving about all the junk results you get on search from advertisers successfully gaming the SEO (search engine optimization) system.
