Women traveling for business have a place to share stories they rarely get a chance to. Ihollaback. Stoptreetharassment.com and other sites create a forum for women to tell about when and where they’ve been harassed. One of the most gruesome recent cases is of CBS reporter Lara Logan who was attacked in Tahir Square while reporting in Cairo.

There are now 12 sister Ihollaback sites in 12 international cities, and 14 more starting soon. “We’re using social networking, blogging, aps and maps to help people share stories and to build a case,” [Holly Kearl, 28, the author of “Stop Street Harassment: Making Public Places Safe and Welcoming for Women” said]. “Street harassment of women has been silenced for too long, and we’re breaking that silence.”
