Her reporting has also been cited on the floor of the Florida Supreme Court and received three consecutive awards from the Associated Press Broadcasters Association in Iowa and Florida.
She received her bachelor's degree in international relations from Brown University and a master's in political science from Université des Antilles et de la Guyane in Guadeloupe.
