If you’ve heard of the “Minions” (and by now, we’ll assume you have), you’re familiar with the work of Chris Meledandri and his company, Illumination Entertainment. Universal Pictures, which owns Illumination, purchased DreamWorks recently. This means Meledandri now has creative oversight of  both operations and all their offerings.
